Under the project, more than 50 girls of rural areas will be creating self-sufficient by giving them the vocational skill of beautician course. The rural girls of the deprived community from 15 to 24 years age will be benefited from the project. It helps the girls to improve their self-employment and develop their livelihood through this skill.

Start-Up Their Own Venture with our Beautician Skill

Elysium Foundation provides appropriate skill development training programmes in the high demand services such as Beautician 50+ women were trained under this program. These services offer time flexibility and the option to operate out of the home on the other, most suitable for the support seeking women population. The program will develop contemporary skills of enrolled students and in due course, provide them with the opportunity to be self-employed.

With the spreading of beauty consciousness in a rural area too, many enthusiastic women are learning beautician courses to get self-employment. Interestingly, majority of the candidates are from rural areas. In the training, they are learning facial, hair cutting, pedicure, and scrubbing, manicure, applying Mehandi etc. 

We at Elysium Foundation were initiated in 2014, to provide vocational skills which provide confidence to women from economically backward families and help them achieve economic and social independence. 

Impact Created

After sessions conducted on beautician, some of the trainees are able to open small business units at home and earn money. Most of the trainees took up jobs related to beauticians. It makes the trainee’s lifestyle more disciplined.

The living standard of 50 girls will be improved. The girls will get stable livelihood through beauty parlour training, whereby deprived girls will get opportunities for higher education. These girls will become empowered and self-dependent.
