Art & Craft

The Elysium Foundation is conducting vocational classes for women in rural areas. The institution imparts professional training to underprivileged women from surrounding villages in art and craft classes.

“ Creative Skill to Make Artisans ”

To upgrade the creativity and productivity skill of rural peoples to provide art and craft training skills for quality improvement of their lives. Through this programme, we develop entrepreneurs among rural people through advanced training in art & craft practices. Especially, painting such as traditional Tanjore painting.

Tanjore painting is an exquisite traditional art form and has a vibrant heritage. It is deeply rooted in tradition and still innovative within limits. Importantly this art is continued to be practiced in the present days; we provide these skills to protect our cultural heritage.

The primary objective of this project is to support and improve the existing organizational infrastructure that serves to enhance the livelihoods of rural Indians in a socially and economically sustainable manner.
